Who are we?
Tamara Rajah is the founder of Tamara Kanes. Tamara is a management consultant and former bioscientist, whose own experiences of the limited range of women’s businesswear in the shops today led her to develop the concept for Tamara Kanes and its three divisions, with the mission of providing a unique complete businesswear wardrobe solution exclusively for women. She started Tamara Kanes in 2007 during her MBA at Wharton, and launched in the UK in 2008
Tamara leads the current Tamara Kanes senior team of Saskia Jeans, an ex-retail consultant who directs day-to-day operations, and Ella Lister, an ex-investment banker who managed the development of the Boutique and Tight Fix
As a team of businesswomen, we understand what’s needed for a professional wardrobe – and we know what we’ve always wished we could find. We’ve put all these personal experiences into guiding what products and services Tamara Kanes offers, so that we can work towards being the reliable, one-stop provider of all those ‘must-have’ and ‘nice-to-have’ businesswear items - with an enjoyable, affordable and hassle-free shopping experience
We have a dedicated wider team including our tailors, buyers, salespeople, e-commerce experts, logistics support, web developers and general advisers – and we all work together round-the-clock to ensure we continue to grow, and provide the perfect products with excellent customer service
