Book a consultation
We will arrange a convenient time for you for one of our tailoring consultants to come to you. We also do weekend and out of hours appointments at request. Currently our tailoring team is based in London and will travel within Zone 1-6 for personal appointments and nationally for group appointments
We come to you at a time that is convenient for you, either in the office or at home. Our appointments are from 8am to 7pm
Choose your style
Your tailoring consultant will bring our style book and fabric samples with her to your consultation. You can choose from our range of styles, you can design your unique style by combining mixing and matching different style elements or you can show us a design that you want and our tailors can create a bespokely tailored garment for you.
You can design your own suit, choosing whatever combination of our style options suits you best for the occasion - . for business, for a wedding or any other occasion where you want to look and feel the best you can. If you can't see quite what you want from our styles, tell us what you would like, and our tailors can design it for you
Choose your fabric and details
Our fabrics are carefully sourced from mills around the world, bringing you the best choice and quality from England, Europe and Asia. Our four fabric collections all contain luxurious, high quality fabrics so you can be assured of an exclusive finished garment no matter what fabric you choose.
You can also add any customisation that you would like to your garments. From the length of your jacket or the width of your waistband to whether you want lapel lining, your tailoring consultant will go through your requests so that your final garments are unique and exactly as you want them
We have over 200 luxurious high-quality fabrics, in a multitude of colours, ranging from pillar box red, navy, canary yellow to beige, navy, black and grey. We have a variety of fabric types and weights; from linen and lightweight wools and cashmere blends to fine Super 100’s pure wool fabrics.
We have similar choice in our shirt fabrics and silk linings to choose from across our collections. And if you want your suit monogrammed, extra buttons, a certain pocket lining colour or any other customisation, we can do that to for you too
Bespoke measuring
We are well aware that women’s body shapes are so varied and that no two women are the same. We’ll work with you to ensure that your suits, dresses and shirts are tailored for you to get continuous wear from them – not just fit but also fabric, weight and colour. If you travel lots or need to fit your suit into a small space, some fabrics will be better than others.
No two women are the same shape so your tailor will take a series of over 20 bespoke personal measurements to construct a bespoke tailored fit for your garments
Fittings
After construction of your garments, your tailoring consultant will visit you for your fittings. These sessions will ensure that your garments fit you perfectly and can be arranged at your home or the office, between 8am and 7pm, Monday to Friday.
To ensure your garments fits like a glove, your personal tailor will arrange as many fitting sessions as you need; typically clients have 2-3 sessions, but this varies from client to client. Fitting alterations and tweaks allow your garments to be perfectly fitted to your body, rather than your measurements.
Finished
When ready, your personally tailored suits, shirts and dresses will be delivered to you, beautifully boxed and packaged, with your complimentary Tamara Kanes garment carrier
Following your fittings sessions, your personalised bespoke suits, shirts and dresses will be delivered to your desk, so beautifully packaged that others will want one too!
Timings
From your initial consultation and measuring session, our tailors typically take between 4-6 weeks to have your garments ready for your first fitting. We will then work closely with you to ensure that your fittings happen as quickly as is convenient for you. If you need your bespoke garments sooner, we do offer an express service and will work with you and the tailors to ensure that you get your garments in time for your special day
Subsequent ordering
We will store your measurements and order details. Should you wish to place orders in future, simply contact us and we can either organise a re-measuring consultation (as we know how we can change shape) or a brief meeting to choose new fabrics and styles.
